Assignment 4.2: Collaborative Unit Plan or Library Programming Project – Partner Project
You will complete this assignment with your partner from Assignment 4.1. You will design a multiple lesson unit of study or a programming plan in which storytelling is a main objective or traditional literature is the major resource. This classroom-library unit or school-public library collaborative project will integrate content-area standards, Standards for the 21st-Century Learner (AASL) or other professional organization's standards, strands, and indicators, storytelling or traditional literature resources, and if appropriate, technology tools.
Follow the assignment sheet directions and align your work with the A.4.1 and 4.2 rubrics. Your lesson/unit plan will be posted to your wiki and may be linked to the course wiki as well.
For those conducting library programming plans, please use the rubric to note the areas where your plan will differ from the school curriculum-based unit plan. For example, your plan will include a publicity plan.
